Mechanical Erection and Commissioning: Involves the setup and commissioning of steam and gas turbines, alternators, compressors, gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, and mechanical auxiliaries
Fabrication and Erection: Includes shop and site fabrication of piping, steel structures, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and general plant erection
Project Execution: Comprehensive project planning, management, and commissioning (cold and hot) are handled by skilled engineers, technicians, and artisans, alongside health, safety, and quality management

ACTOM Turbo Machines erected two 150MW Doosan-Skoda steam turbine and Siemens generators

The two trains each consisting of a HP/IP turbine casing, a LP turbine casing, a generator, as well as gearboxes, pumps, exciters, and all other mechanical oil and control system piping and auxiliaries
ACTOM Turbo supplied all specialized erection personnel, such as the chief erector, turbine engineer, technicians, artisans and semi-skilled assistants
ACTOM Turbo also supplied all of the specialised tooling and equipment, such as high-precision laser levelling equipment for the 30m long train
ACTOM Turbo completed the erection on time and within budget

Maintenance and general overhauls of 14 x 30MW steam turbine and compressor trains in petrochemical air separation plant, consisting of:

Equipment: GHH steam turbines and compressors are the primary focus of maintenance and operations
On-Site Operations: Up to 35 personnel, including a turbine and compressor engineer, site manager, foremen, and HSE managers and officers, ensuring safety and quality standards

General maintenance and general overhauls of six 60MW steam turbines in power station, consisting of:

Turbine-Generator Trains: Includes four GEC turbine-generator trains and two Escher Wyss turbine-generator trains, along with HP and LP turbines, and generators
On-Site Operations: Up to 15 personnel, including a site manager and HSE officers, supported by a site office, vehicles, equipment, and tooling

Comprehensive site maintenance services by experienced technicians, fitters, project managers and engineers, such as:

Machining, fabrication, and assembly workshops
3D measuring, dimensional and visual inspections
Run-out inspections
Weld repair and re-machining of rotor shafts, casings, impellers, peripherals and auxiliaries
Casing line boring
Re-machining and grinding of rotor shaft journals
Re-metaling and machining white metal bearings
Labyrinth seals replacement, strip material and wire, re-caulking and machining
Wear ring welding or coating and re-machining
Turbine rotor and stator re-blading

Final assembly with verification of all specifications, dimensions and tolerances as per assembly procedures
